Business information

The Greenville, North Carolina, USA site is a large, multipurpose pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, and packaging campus. The operation provides both development and commercial services for sterile injectables and oral solid dose forms.

How will you make an impact?

We are offering an outstanding opportunity for high potential Engineering graduates to develop a leadership career in pharmaceutical manufacturing within our sprawling campus here in Greenville. This high visibility program is led by a dedicated Program Manager and a member of the site’s Senior Leadership Team, who functions as the cohorts’ direct manager (Functional Leader) for the duration of the program.

Key Responsibilities

Participants will experience rotation assignments over three (3) + years providing a broad experience in different facets of pharmaceutical manufacturing, including a supervisory/management rotation, while allowing for exposure to our core processes, technologies, and leaders. Additional learning opportunities such as formal coaching and development sessions, mentorship, Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Action Learning Project, participation in company-wide leadership programs, and a network of rotational cohort participants, round out the program.

Rotations include exposure to:

• Company processes and systems

• Practical Process Improvement Business system (PPI)

• Manufacturing operations

• Manufacturing support functions

• Critical initiatives and projects

• Senior Leaders

Participants are afforded an outstanding chance to create results, quickly gain credibility and develop strong professional networks. As the program concludes, participants will partner with their Program Manager and Functional Leader to identify positions for post program placement.

Location Specific Information

This opportunity is specific to the Greenville NC site and will consist of three (3) rotations which could include (but not limited to) one-year rotations in Manufacturing Operations and support functions such as Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Business Management, etc. The final rotation will consist of a role with supervisory/managerial responsibilities. Assignments are based on the needs of the site and goals of the participant. Schedule flexibility (alternate shifts) will be required during and upon completion of the program.

How will you get here?

• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Bio-medical, Chemical, or related field).

• Experience in life sciences, business, or engineering (including internship or co-op work) preferred, but not required.

• Consistent track record of leadership accomplishments.

• Energized through change agent behaviors and ability to effectively adapt to new assignments, managers, and functional areas.

• Ability to work well with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.

• Strong attention to detail and drive for results. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong professional presence

• Desire to work in a manufacturing environment in Greenville NC and versatility to work alternate schedules (other than day shift) in support of the business.

• Business understanding of metrics, budgets, and strategy aligned with business objectives.

• Unrestricted US Work Authorization (forms of OPT and CPT are restricted work authorization)
