Insight Global Geotechnical Department Manager in Greenville, South Carolina
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Project level Geotechnical Engineer for a large Engineering Consulting firm located in Greenville, SC! This person will be responsible for planning, geotechnical specific work, as well as managing projects varying in size and complexity. The successful candidate will be willing to experience all phases of geotechnical and construction management efforts. This includes but is not limited to; resource management, project scheduling, budgets and forecasts, working with external vendors/subcontractors, evaluating and synthesizing complex laboratory/field data, compiling drilling and exploration plans, and foundation analysis. This individual will spend 15% of their time in the field and 85% in office. They will work closely with other staff engineers as well as Professional Engineers and report directly up into the Department Manager. The Tallahassee office works on exciting projects including Large solar power generation projects and energy infrastructure including pile load testing and geophysical studies, FDOT bridge projects, Tallahassee's Amazon Warehouse -- the largest of its kind in the area, and much more.

Skills and Requirements
- BS Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Degree
- Valid Drivers License with acceptable violation history
- Able to pass drug and background screening
- EIT (Engineer in Training) or Engineering Internship
- 1+ years professional/geotechnical experience - PE license
- Master's degree null
