VALLE VISTA HEALTH SYSTEM:

Since 1983, Valle Vista Health System, a 132 bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing high-quality behavioral health care to the community. We offer care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders. We provide care to adults, and to patients as young as age five. Our programs include inpatient, outpatient and medication-assisted treatment for adults, and residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. These programs are designed to help adults, children and teens learn the necessary skills to regain confidence, heal and successfully function at home, work, school and in their communities. The Plant Operations Technician performs a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and to troubleshoot, repair and replace parts in equipment throughout the hospital in accordance with diagrams, sketches, and operation manuals. Technicians will also perform tests, inspections and preventive maintenance of facility equipment with minimal supervision. Technicians will take rotation on call duties when working a full time position.

Qualifications

Education: H igh school graduate or equivalent, preferred.

Experience : Experience in a related maintenance field. Technical or trade school preferred. Experience in drywall repairs, painting, basic electrical, HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, basic computer skills, power and hand tools is most helpful,
