Actalent Hardware Engineer Manager in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Job Description

The Hardware Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Electrical Engineering team, and coordinating with the Test, RF, and Firmware teams. This role ensures the successful development and maintenance of hardware products. The individual will drive innovation, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure efficient project execution within the engineering department.

Hard Skills

  • Proven leadership experience in engineering, with a focus on electrical

  • Experience in electrical designs containing cellular, Bluetooth, WiFi and GNSS systems

  • Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and managing PCB and PCBA samples

  • Experience with sustaining engineering and hardware lifecycle management

  • Knowledge of hardware test engineering, including building test systems using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom-made hardware, and measurements through LabVIEW

  • Understanding of RF equipment and measurements, including network analyzers, CMW500, RF power meters, and spectrum analyzers

  • Knowledge of antenna theory and measurements such as TRP, TIS, gain, and efficiency

  • Experience in wearable product development, including miniaturization, power management, and ergonomic design

Soft Skills

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous experience working with consumer electronics

This is a fully on-site position in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
