Patient Care Coordinator

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This role is situated within the high-tech pharmaceutical and biotech industry. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the point of contact for patients in our retail clinics, managing both administrative and operational functions, and coordinating patient interactions and needs.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating patient interactions and addressing their needs efficiently

• Driving patient appointment scheduling and clinic revenue generation through outbound and follow-up calls to potential and existing patients

• Ensuring a positive patient experience by greeting all patients and understanding current marketing promotions

• Managing the administrative functions of the clinic, including data entry and appointment scheduling, using company protocols and internal scheduling database software

• Overseeing operational functions such as managing office supply inventory according to company-approved lists, and maintaining an accurate account of petty cash, bank deposits, and credit transactions

• Handling patient insurance documentation directly, understanding current HIPAA laws, and maintaining inventory

• Attracting new patients to help meet revenue goals and understanding potential referrals.

Requirements

• Must have at least one year of experience in a similar role required

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound-outbound calls

• Experience in authorizations and billing functions within the healthcare sector

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle patient queries efficiently

• Knowledge of outbound marketing strategies and platforms

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

• Proven record of following industry protocols and regulations

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with healthcare management systems
