Applied Materials Field Service Data Engineer in Grenoble, France
Applied Materials, an American multinational with Headquarters in Santa Clara - Silicon Valley California, is the world’s leading company in the supply of innovative machinery used in semiconductors production.
Our Data Engineers (also known as Aix Engineers ) act as a support function to our Field Service Engineer (Maintenance Engineers). They are the interface between the Field Service team and the Digital Tools Enablement organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data analytics on equipment sensor signals, analyzes trends in dialog with the field Hardware and Process Engineers to accelerate troubleshooting.
Provide analytical data visualization to the service team and ensure use of the latest predictive models.
Design, test and deploy new models and algorithms to “understand/predict” the equipment behavior behind the data by using direct inputs from our field service experts.
We are looking for you:
You hold a Master’s degree in Data Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related field
An advanced level of English together with a proficient level of French.
You are an EU Citizen or have the right to live and work in France.
Your mindset is important:
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a building trust nature.
Exercise judgement based on data analysis of multiple sources of information like plant documentations, schematics, and hardware data.
Find solutions with different tools to get the machine running again.
Explain difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus.
