High School Math Teacher QUALIFICATIONS: BA, Iowa Teacher's Certification are required; 7-12 Math Endorsement Previous K-12 teaching experience is prefered, but not required
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Demonstrate the ability to enhance academic performance and support for and implementation of the Districts student achievement goals Meet and instruct assigned classes Use research-based instructional strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of all students Create a classroom environment that is conductive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of all students Ability to create strong and supportive relationships with colleagues and students Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
