Collaborate with day shift team (supervisors and leads) to coordinate workflow and staffing. Effective use of systems includes logging in to your PC daily to check emails and respond to items impacting you and your area, Access Databases, RF unit, etc., to facilitate necessary people movement based on operation needs. Communicates well with other leads and employees. Take ownership of day shift processes and seek to find solutions. Makes timely and effective decisions based on objectives and goals. Address issues effectively and immediately as they arise. Reinforce the leadership team's mission and objectives. Effectively manage the area of responsibility to assist with meeting daily objectives in addition to assigned lead duties Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment May use (but not limited to) power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment Will train new associates as needed Shift Details: Monday - Friday 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM OR Completion Min Requirements: 5+ years of related experience Critical Skills: Basic understanding of Microsoft Applications Required 2+ years of Leadership experience Power Industrial Equipment experience, or willing to be trained and certified Thorough knowledge of Material Handling issues Work experience in a face-paced, distribution or warehouse environment or stock room strongly preferred, picking/packing, sorting, loading/unloading, scanning, or various other warehouse functions. Strong reading, addition and subtraction skills needed to manage order specific documentation. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 20 to 50lbs repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance (weight varies based on product) Must be able to bend, sit, stand, twist, stoop for long periods of time.
