Aston Carter is looking to hire an office manager for an opening in Grove City, Ohio!!

Job Description

The Office Manager will oversee the daily administrative operations of our construction office. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of office functions, supporting project teams, and maintaining a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing systems.

  • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely communication and documentation.

  • Handle procurement of office supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

  • Maintain records of employee attendance, payroll, and other HR-related tasks.

  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and documentation.

  • Oversee office maintenance and liaise with vendors and service providers.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Support the finance department with invoicing, expense tracking, and budget management.

  • Organize company events, meetings, and training sessions.

  • Provide general administrative support to the executive team.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.

  • Knowledge of basic accounting and HR principles.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks.

Work Environment

The work environment is a construction office setting. The role requires proficiency with various office management software and technologies. The Office Manager will interact with project managers, site supervisors, and vendors regularly. Standard office hours apply, with occasional requirements for extended hours based on project needs. Dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00
