Job Detail: Title: Parking Monitor Attendant Location: CMH Ground Transportation; 24/7 operation Pay: $17.00-$18.75/hour; non-tipped Schedule: Full and Part-Time shift times may vary. 6 am-2 pm, 1 pm-6 am, 2pm-10pm The Spirit of the Position: The Parking Monitor provides exceptional customer service to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. The Parking Monitor will accurately key vehicle license plates and issue parking citations using a handheld ticket issuance system. The Parking Monitor is responsible for... Responsibilities: Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all Acknowledges and greets customers within five feet Resolve customer complaints following policies and procedures. Practices proper LAZ Parking service standards Maintain proper Taxi queue and inventory. Maintain and care for all company-issued equipment. Assists customers with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries Must be open to feedback, differing opinions, and other points of view. Ability to handle challenging and, at times, emotionally charged situations. Systems and Standards: Completes all tasks promptly as instructed by the Senior Operations Manager Treat guests and associates with courtesy, respect, and dignity Follows all appearance standards as set forth by LAZ Parking Maintains a clean, neat work environment Safety and Risk Management: Follows site-specific safety and security procedures Practices preventative safety procedures as set forth by LAZ Parking, including safe lifting techniques Reports all potential hazards and safety concerns to the Senior Operations Manager Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems Physical Demands: Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
