Job Title: Senior Staff Engineer - GRC Location: OH - Columbus What you'll do: What we are looking for: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technology Professional to join our team and provide crucial support for our Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC) platform. As a GRC Technology Professional, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our GRC software and systems, ensuring seamless integration with our existing technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a strong technologist with a practical data engineering mindset, is outcome-focused, and fosters teamwork. Essential Functions: GRC Platform Management: Manage and administer the organization's GRC platforms, including configuration, customization, and updates to meet evolving business needs and regulatory requirements. System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GRC platforms with other IT systems, applications, and databases, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and address technical issues, system bugs, and performance bottlenecks in GRC platforms promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. User Support and Training: Provide user support, conduct training sessions, and develop user-friendly guides to empower employees in effectively utilizing GRC platforms. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements in GRC processes and systems. Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate insightful reports and analytics from GRC platforms to assist stakeholders in decision-making and risk assessment. Collaboration: Work closely with risk management, compliance, and internal audit teams to align technology solutions with business objectives and enhance overall risk management capabilities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of development and/or implementation experience for enterprise applications Proven experience (2+ years) in managing and supporting Governance, Risk, and Controls platforms. 4+ years of experience working as a software developer. Strong knowledge of GRC frameworks and principles, such as COSO, ISO 31000, NIST, etc. Proficiency in configuring and customizing GRC software, e.g., SAI 360, RSA Archer, SAP GRC, etc. Familiarity with IT security, data privacy, and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX). Experience working with Regulatory compliance process and applications. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Hands on experience with ADO and/or other backlog management and CI/CD tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Python, Jira, Git, DevOps tools and Power shell. Knowledge of ETL concepts and large volume data handling between systems Knowledge of mathematical calculations to summarize and aggregate large volumes of data.
