Position Overview:
The Evening Security Worker serves as security personnel during the assigned shift. The safety and security of the youth are the primary responsibilities of the evening childcare worker.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety and security for all youth during night hours.
- Constant observation of the sleeping areas.
- Make two physical counts of youth every half hour.
- Responsible for reporting physical count information every half hour to the Communications and Dispatch Operator.
- Report any youth problems to Campus Supervisor immediately. This may include youth sickness or disciplinary issue.
- Report a youth absconder to Communications and Dispatch Operator and Campus Supervisor immediately.
- Report any and all overnight youth issues to Counselor Parents or Behavioral Health Technician at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
- Able to provide documentation
- High School diploma or GED
