Copeland Import Analyst in GUADALAJARA, Mexico
Responsibilities
• Coordination and Control of Import materials Customs in Guadalajara, Nuevo Laredo, Mexico City, and Manzanillo.
• Request documentation from the purchasing department.
• Review that documents meet the fiscal requirements for importation purposes.
• Collect and provide Customs Agents with required documentation according to their nature to comply with tariff and non-tariff regulations and restrictions.
• Review of goods inspections for importation and examination of customs declarations before authorizing payment.
• Collect necessary signatures to comply with imports (declarations under protest, certification of invoices, health letters, NOM letters, SEDENA, SEMARNAT letters, etc.)
• Receipt, Review, and Integration of invoices from suppliers related to imports.
• Process payment of invoices from customs and logistics service providers (when applicable) to the accounts payable department.
• Compile files with fiscal requirements and their cost sheet for filing (physical filing).
• Electronic filing of Imports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in International Business, Administration, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of experience in ground, sea, and air imports.
• 80% English fluency
• Office Inventory Control System ARANXEL
• Business Customs Declaration System
• Laws and Regulations of Foreign Trade.
• International Logistics. Dealing with Customs Agents.
