What You Can Expect
This is a critical leadership position that impact the department, manufacturing operations, and projects success through project management and prioritization of activities aligned to business needs. Provides technical guidance and leadership to engineering staff by promoting effective solutions to production problems and cost savings initiatives. Responsible for continuous support to Manufacturing Operations with the Manufacturing Engineering team by developing new processes, production controls, and providing necessary formal process documentation in compliance with GMP requirements and ISO Standard. Leads Value Improvement Projects meetings for the Engineering Department to ensure projects adherence to plan and successful implementation.
How You'll Create Impact
Guide engineering staff on the planning and execution of Value Improvement Projects to ensure realistic but aggressive timelines are developed to comply with site commitments.
Anticipate roadblocks/risks and establish mitigation plans for critical tasks and projects being managed.
Serve as a technical thought leader and a positive mentor to engineering staff.
Effectively build teams and motivate the team members.
Ensure timely implementation of Engineering Value Improvement Projects and cost savings site commitments.
Drive Lean Ecosystem (LES) activities and support as requested.
Assist department management in preparing area and projects budgets.
Identify new technologies and process improvements opportunities to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency.
Interface with the Warsaw Development, Research, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Manufacturing, and other groups to provide the necessary support for cell product processes, new product introductions and product transfers.

Your Background
English proficiency.
Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 6-8 years of work experience in a manufacturing engineering or technical role; or a master’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 4 years' work experience.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in driving continuous improvement activities or influencing process optimization preferred.
Minimum of 5 years with experience in New Product Design, New Product Introduction and/or Product Transfers.
Experience managing a team preferred.
