The Thermal and Specialized Solutions (TSS) business in Chemours has over 90 years of history with the development and commercialization of thermal management solutions. Chemours pioneered much of the technology that makes refrigeration and air conditioning possible today, and we continue to innovate with the introduction of our low global warming potential Opteon™ products. Our solutions are used in residential and commercial air conditioning, the cold chain, mobile air-conditioning and much more. TSS products enable the transition towards more sustainable and climate friendly technologies.

TSS is poised to revolutionize the data center industry with innovative cooling solutions. We specialize in immersion cooling fluid technologies that enhance performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of data centers all while supporting the enablement of next generation computing applications. For this role, TSS is seeking a NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Professional who will lead our commercial efforts in key regions. The focus will be on India, Middle East and Asia. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen, along with a proven track record of successfully driving growth in emerging tech sectors in the Data Center market.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify and target potential clients within the data center industry.

  • Articulate customer needs and work within a cross functional team to lead development activities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to capture and expand potential business

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

  • In collaboration with the Global Marketing Manager, conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the industry.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand the nuances and advantages of our immersion cooling products.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to a range of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring the clients' needs are met.

  • Attend industry conferences, events, and trade shows to promote our products and establish a professional network.

  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market demands.

The following is required for this role:

  • Min of 7-10 years of experience in a new business development or strategic commercial role

  • Min of 3-5 years of experience in the tech and data center industry.

  • Posses a strong network and positive reputation in the data center industry

  • Detail a proven track record in growing top line revenue with new products

  • Experience with collaborating in a cross functional team

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to translate technical details into benefits for the customer.

  • Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.

  • Ability to travel across the region and outside the region, 30% to 50% of the time.

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit :

  • BS or master degree in business/marketing/engineering/science.

  • Strong understanding of immersion cooling technologies and their applications

  • Experience in a highly regulated market
