Actalent Histology Supervisor in Gurnee, Illinois
Job Description
As a Histology Supervisor, you will assist Pathologists and other Histotechnologists in performing tests on tissue samples. Your responsibilities will include embedding, microtomy, routine staining, special staining/immunohistochemistry, and filing slides, blocks, and paperwork in alpha-numeric order. You will also manage equipment use and uphold quality control standards.

This role is based in a dynamic lab environment. With the upcoming acquisition of new location samples, you can expect an increase in sample volume, offering a fast-paced and evolving work setting.
