Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operations:

  • Manage a team of 1000-1500 FTE engaged in Ambulatory RCM

  • Accountable for key metrics like MNCR, AR >90 days, AR Days , Quality and Productivity

  • Responsible for all people related metrics like absenteeism, attrition, employee experience & employee development

  • Relationship & Ownership:

  • Build relationship with Domestic counterparts and stake holders

  • Demonstrate accountability for overall business metrics (even if it is not delivered 100% out of Optum Global)

  • Build relationships with Product leaders and Regional leaders

  • Provide oversight to vendors in the global space

  • Strategy, Innovation:

  • Develop strategy and plan to support businesses in their pursuit to deliver on cost and performance

  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate processes for improved outcome

  • Work with upstream functions, quality, training to be able to drive resolution and process improvements

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • 18-20 years of overall experience with the last 8-10 years being in the Ambulatory RCM Back office

  • Has a good understanding of the US healthcare system with a specific focus on Physicians, Care Delivery Organizations (CDO)

  • Ability to understand the basic structure and operating model of Fee for Service Clinics and CDO in terms of revenue cycle management

  • It's desirable to understand the top EHR/PMS like EPIC, Athena, Allscripts, ECW

  • Solid people management skills

  • Proven good PowerPoint and presentation skills

  • Should have an active US Visa

  • Desirable to understand the top EHR/PMS like EPIC, Athena, Allscripts, ECW

  • Experience of having worked in US assignments
