Google Product Marketing Manager, Consumer, Google Pixel in Gurugram, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in marketing GTM at client side marketing agencies, with a focus on marketing premium products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing creative campaigns such as reviewing creative, directing agency partners, developing toolkits, executing brand marketing tactics and working collaboratively across highly matrixed teams in a global organization.

  • Ability to translate insights into actionable brand strategy and campaigns that form the backbone of Google Hardware marketing campaigns.

  • Ability to convey campaign strategy, handle objections, and work collaboratively with various teams.

  • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners.

  • Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and manage projects in an unstructured environment.

  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills, to influence business decisions.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for one of Google's consumer products, and will take part in the complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey across strategy, research, creative, media and measurement. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help represent the product and grow a loyal consumer base. You will work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more.

In this role, you will be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end including both brand building and activation.

  • Develop and execute brand campaigns to introduce Google Pixel phones and other hardware devices and generate awareness, consideration and purchase intent. Lead the complete process from briefing through to creative design and implementation.

  • Partner effectively with Product Marketing, regional and global brand teams and India Marketing stakeholders to orchestrate Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and creative briefs that deliver exceptional GTM for Google’s range of hardware products.

  • Partner with Marketing teams in APAC and global, guiding their work and driving operational efficiency and creative excellence.

  • Work closely with creative and media agencies to build exceptional creatives and other user-facing communications inline with product offerings and global brand.

  • Measure success of your work, share learnings and make fast improvements to drive operational efficiency.
