Quality Engineer working for OCSP applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Evolves test strategy and codes to automate complicated test scenarios
Advances new and reusable utilities for common test scenarios, utilities; Contributes to the library/framework to the benefit of Scrum team
Familiarizes team with tools, processes and language to help engineer how to leverage data effectively
Contributes toward maturing CICD and incorporating the ATDD best practices, executing automated test suites
Applies business acumen and historical knowledge to quantify risks and assess severity
Analyzes and prioritizes defects, usability, test scenarios and business impact
Improve Productivity of the team
Mentor team in demonstrating their capability through expertise in writing complex scenarios, critical defects etc.
Innovative and qualitative approach with strategic thinking to problem statement
Identify business problems and solve them to provide value to the specific state engagement
Work on developing strategy for at least 2 of the following next generation technologies for our Engineering evolution Chatbots IoT Microservices
Cloud Technologies AI/ML.
Reuses and develops self-documenting functions, API's and micro-services to solve moderately advanced problems
Develops advanced test frameworks based on the tech stack and mentor others on how to develop the same
Understands all the connected technology services and their impacts
Assesses ideas in context of maximizing business value
Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to achieve business outcomes
Encourages team to leverage PADU, maximize open-source usage and reduce cost of testing

Required Qualifications:
12-16 years of experience as an SDET / Quality Engineer / Engineering Manager functions
Hands-on experience in all types of testing including unit, integration, system, sanity, smoke, regression, acceptance, performance
Experience with enterprise-level test automation tools and frameworks, including both open source and commercial products
Experience leading a team of SDET / quality engineers in a large organization
Hands-on Java/C#, Groovy, Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor, Soap UI Pro, JMeter & LoadRunner experience
Experience with back-end API testing
Experience working in an off-shore / on-shore model
Experience implementing quality engineering practices in a CI / CD pipeline or workflows, version control, test management, and integrating automation frameworks
Proven excellent understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology
Proven good communicator at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in creating test strategies, and developing test plans
Working knowledge of MS SQL, SQL query language and SQL Management Studio
Ability to implement modern components, tools and technologies
Ability to implement practices that support ATDD and CICD (with ability of E2E Implementation & trouble shooting)
Ability to leverage AI/ML with focus on prediction rather than solely depending on reactive approaches
Ability to implement solutions that exemplify modern practices
Ability to champion test data provisioning/management framework (focus on reuse)
Ability to contribute to the Org on Reusable testing assets
Ability to leverage Databases & SQL for better quality outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
DevOps engineering background using Jenkins/TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Docker

Experience around Azure Cloud
