How you’ll spend your day
Treatment of effluent according to procedures: Receiving the effluent, pH maintenance of effluent, taking round in the plant to audit any water leakage, to avoid any overflow of effluent pit, feed control according to biomass level, ensure the proper dosing of coagulant and flocculant, maintain the proper pH of effluent at various stages, nutrient and other chemical dosing, Timely sludge wastage from clarifiers.
Proper operation of the RO, MVRE, MEE and ATFD plants. Maintaining dosing as per requirements, logging various control parameters like pressure, feed flow, feed pH, reject flow, recycle flow etc.
Ensure dosing of the chemicals as per the optimization study conducted in the lab by chemist.
Cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment’s.
Fill in log sheets and formats as applicable.
Raising job orders to maintenance in case of any breakdown and follow up with maintenance.
Cross check of crucial parameter like pH, TDS, Conductivity and running equipment’s during shift handover.
Receiving of hazardous waste from production plant and proper storage in HW room.
Follow up instruction from time to time given by Manager- Ecology.
Maintaining record for utilization of RO permeate in factory premises.
Your experience and qualifications
- B.Sc. with minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in ETP
