The opportunity

As an Operator – Complex Compounding, you will ultimately be responsible for the manufacture of our bulk products. The bulk products you manufacture will be the starting point for the fill- finish department and ultimately result in a high quality pharma product batch that leaves our site. You’ll be dispensing, compounding and filtrating our products throughout the Manufacturing Operations department. You can take pride that your actions enable Teva’s patients to receive lifesaving/enhancing medication each day.

How you’ll spend your day

• Equipment / process set-up/start up activities in accordance with cleanroom SOPs and cGMP

• Dispense, compound and filtrate Teva’s sterile products

• Assist, where appropriate in basic equipment maintenance - As instructed by the Engineering team

• Taking accountability in adhering to Health and Safety procedures and good working practices to minimize accidents/incidents

• Perform operational duties to enhance overall quality of the final product

• Ensuring good housekeeping standards are met within your area(s) and in accordance with cGMP

• Take an active role in trouble shooting and resolving process issues in a quick and effective manner, ultimately contributing to the achievement of site performance targets

• Take ownership of reporting any instances of non-conformance are communicated to management team

• Complete batch & associated manufacturing documentation right first time in accordance with SOPs and ensure compliance with cGMP

Your experience and qualifications

Are you a recent graduate with a Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline who has a passion for working in a business which improves patients’ lives.

Or alternatively you may have experience of working in batch manufacturing (dispensing, compounding) within in a highly regulated industry such as food manufacturing, pharma, medical devices or any other similar environment.

Do you have:

• Strong technical and problem solving skills that can be applied to pharmaceutical manufacturing

• Good attention to detail

• Good communication skills in Dutch or English and preferred the willingness to improve your Dutch language skills in case needed.

Are you:

• A good communicator and self-starter

• Able to set and deliver high performance standards for self and team members

• Able to work as part of an operations team

Reports To

Shift Manager - Production

What will we offer

  • 2800 to 3500 gross per month excluding allowances, based on fulltime.

  • You will receive a Teva contract for 12 months, with the intention to have a long lasting employment relationship.
