Eaton Corporation Engineer in Hadapsar, India

What you’ll do:

At Eaton India Innovation Center, Center for Secure Cyber-physical Systems is currently seeking a Engineer to join our team! This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune.

We are looking forward to an Engineer for Eaton’s Foreseer product who is Passionate to work in Software Domain and understands and inculcates Ethical values with Transparency. He/She should be a quick learner and should easily adapt to upcoming technical domains and believe in leading the team from front. He/She should be Efficient and take Accountability to assigned charter which fits in to overall Goals of software, web, desktop and database technologies and solutions. He/She must have a keen eye for Quality and should be really passionate about meeting the deadlines.

• Contribute to the software development efforts by contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of world class, high-performance, enterprise grade software applications.

• Evaluate business requirements to determine potential solutions.

• Understand and evaluate solutions, architecture and designs to create new solutions and enhance existing solution

• Work directly with stakeholders, engineering, and test to create high quality products that solve customer problems.

• Propose and provide innovative, competitive technical solutions which can make significant business impact and provide value to stakeholders.

• Provide work estimates and conduct design, implementation, and code reviews.

• Develop and execute plans for incremental and interactive project delivery.

• Work with test team to ensure adequate and appropriate test case coverage; investigate and fix bugs

• Should be ready to code, create coding standards and ensure code quality

• Awareness of cybersecurity standards and practices while solutioning is a must have

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Ckm,omputer Science/Software Engineering /Information Technology/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution required.

• Preferred - Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from an accredited institution.

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.

• 3+ Years experience in back end development - C# , .Net and C+ • 2+ Years experience designing web applications using React , angular etc. .

• Sound knowledge of Algorithms, Design patterns and Design principles

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Knowledge on electrical communication protocols & electrical devices would be an added advantage

• Strong in Multithreading concepts and Data Structures knowledge

• Hands on experience in C++, C# and .Net

• Strong level of skills in building web applications using HTML5 , CSS3, JQuery ,React with associated IDE’s (Visual Studio, Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc.).

• Experience with the Client-Server Oriented Architecture.

• Experience in working with SQL database /SQL queries

• Experience in Unit testing

• Experience in static code analysis tools like Coverity , PCLint etc.

• Experience in debugging issues anywhere in the stack

• Hands on experience on handling code repository using Git

• Good to have knowledge of Python programming language

• Good to have knowledge of CI/CD using tools like Github actions, Bamboo and/or Azure pipelines, etc.

• Good to have exposure to cybersecurity practices

• Experience utilizing best practices in software engineering

• Good to have knowledge of Microsoft Azure

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts.

• Strong problem solving and reasoning ability skills exhibiting technical innovation and creative solutions.

• Abreast of upcoming software development/engineering tools, trends, and methodologies.

• Good time management and decision-making skills.
