Summary You will serve as a RIGGER in the ORDNANCE DEPARTMENT of NMCPAC CWD UNIT INDIAN ISLAND at NAVMAG INDIAN ISLAND. Responsibilities You will perform rigging by use of cranes, hoisting tackles, pull lifts, chain hoists, roller bars, skids and forklifts. You will direct the movement of cranes with capacities up to 130 tons. You will direct lifting, moving and placement of heavy loads in loading and unloading materials and machinery from railroad cars, trucks, barges, ships and on tops of high buildings. You will stand and run rigging from wire rope and manila line. You will serve as the Naval Magazine Indian Island weight test certifying official for al Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE).
