Cayuse Holdings Senior Marine Engineer in Hagatna, Guam

Primary Focus

The Senior Marine Engineer will be responsible for all corrosion control and preservation of all engineering spaces. The Senior Marine Mechanic/Engineer reports to the Boat Captain while underway. All duties and responsibilities will be performed by the Business Intelligence Analyst per the Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision of all preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs to all systems categorized as Hull, Mechanical, Electrical (HME), and Hydraulic.

  • Identify all depot level repairs and other work exceeding the capability of the Contractor and forward to the PMRF COR for resolution.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Coast Guard (USCG) Designated Duty Engineer of vessels up to 4000 HP license

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug check

  • Secret Clearance required.

  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment

Minimum Skills:

  • Ability to multitask and work independently

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Perform well in a position of trust and responsibility

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Reports to : Boat Captain, Program Manager

Working Conditions

  • Must possess the ability to work in any condition like bending, twisting, and standing to execute normal job duties at sea and on land.

  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position. Will be required to attend and conduct virtual meetings throughout the workday. Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines.

  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes

Pay Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.
