Job Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible Construction Flaggers to join our construction team! The Construction Flagger will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic in and around construction sites. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a dedication to safety.
Main Responsibilities
Direct and control traffic flow in and around the construction site following established safety procedures and regulations
Communicate effectively with drivers, crew, and pedestrians to ensure a clear understanding of traffic patterns and instructions
Use hand signals, flags, and other signaling devices to guide traffic and ensure safe passage through construction zones
Adjust traffic control measures as needed to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of vehicles
Collaborate with construction crew members to coordinate flagging operations with ongoing construction activities
Set up and maintain traffic control devices, such as cones, signs, and barricades, in accordance with guidelines
Report any safety hazards, violations, or accidents to supervisors or appropriate personnel
Education
Degree or Equivalent Experience
Qualifications
Flagger Certification Card
Relevant work history as a Construction flagger or similar role is preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of operation of telecommunications systems

Physical Requirements
Must Pass PAT (Physical Ability Test)
Must Pass Pre-employment Drug Screening
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to stand for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions
Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE), as required.
Frequent exposure to loud noise
Regularly exposed to adverse weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
