Your Responsibilities

  • Management of correct planning and timely execution of the technical operations pertaining to the maintenance (PMS and extraordinary), daily activities, improvements and technical modifications for the assigned ships.

  • Overseeing of safety and environmental protection culture, which must be driven in close co-operation with in onboard, shore teams (e.g. cruise governance) and DPA

  • Close collaboration with HR for continuous evaluation and training development of the shipboard personnel

  • Responsibity of preparation and support of audits and inspections and appropriate follow up and documentation of findings in liaison and guidance with Cruise Governance/ Audit Management. Follow up for actions of findings and documenting this in existing platform and/ or new HESS-MS

  • Conducting technical inspections onboard and managing the relevant follow up and reporting monthly vessel status

  • Devise, agree and monitor the budget (Opex>Capex) concerning the assigned ships

Your Profile

  • Degree in Mechanical or Ship Technical engineering

  • Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering or equivalent

  • Maritime practice knowledge desirable

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in similar role

  • Onboard work experience

  • Understanding of basic accounting and capability of devising and managing budgets

  • Good organizational and communication skills

  • Junior leadership experience

  • Clear communication skills, both verbally and in written format

  • Very good English language skills (as this is our company language)
