Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and execution of technical projects on cruise ships in operation and in dry-docks

  • Responsible for management of external suppliers and service contractors being involved in the projects regarding time, budget, quality and results

  • Responsible to coordinate technical purchaser activities and analyse contractor’s offers; close contracts and ensure contract management

  • Support and provide active contribution to develop new technical solutions on ships in the Costa Group and within Carnival Corporation

  • Cooperate with the Fleet Management to support ship operations especially but not limited to the projects executed on board

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering, shipbuilding or mechanical engineering with focus on marine industry or cruise industry. A master’s degree is desirable

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the area of ship technology or more than 3 years in the area of ship management and/or yard business

  • Knowledge in ship design and/or ship operation is preferred

  • Structured and organized way of working as well as time management skills with the ability to think and plan strategically ahead

  • Able to work independently as well as within a Team

  • Project Management skills and having a high level of self-motivation

  • Service oriented with excellent communication skills

  • Very good English language skills! (English is our company language.)

  • Deep knowledge of Office 365 system (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
