Job Description

Your Profile:

You are a highly skilled Technician/Electrician with expertise in installing and repairing electronic and navigational equipment on commercial ships worldwide. Your background includes a solid foundation in computer networking, electronics, and mechanical systems. You thrive under pressure and tight deadlines, excelling both as a team player and independently. Problem-solving is your passion, and you are dedicated to contributing to the maintenance and operation of crucial electronic equipment in the maritime industry. With a willingness to travel and work in a dynamic global environment, you have the opportunity to embark on a fulfilling career in this industry.

We are looking for someone who is pro-active, works well under pressure and to tight deadlines, works well in a team and as an individual, and enjoys helping to solve problems.

Your Tasks:

• Installation of electronic equipment on ships.

• Troubleshooting and repair of navigation equipment both on board and ashore

• Providing In-house support and 2nd level support

• Facilitating Training for ships-crew on equipment operation and maintenance

• Commissioning and Preparation of equipment deliveries

Your Skills:

• Expertise in electronics and mechanics

• Good English speaking and writing

• Proficient in MS office applications

• Readiness and willingness to travel as required

• Strong technical abilities

• Experience with ship electronics is a plus but not mandatory
