Performance Optimal Health Physical Therapy Aide in Hamden, Connecticut

As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our physical therapists and supporting our clients on their journey to improved well-being.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the physical therapists in providing patient care, including setting up equipment and preparing treatment areas
Assisting and motivating patients during exercise programs
Observing and reporting patient progress to the physical therapists
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and equipment
Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and completing documentation
Adhering to all facility policies and procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and assist patients with mobility
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, if required

Requirements
