This 24/7 facility uses the newest technology to assemble the majority of our shock-absorber production for three separate yet integral production groups Original Equipment (OE), Aftermarket (AM) and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV). We work with our customers to provide the right system for the desired ride from passive monotube shock absorbers to those that are adjustable, we have you covered for the optimal driving experience. Your responsibilities Summary: The Engineering Rotational Development Program is a two-year rotational program open to new Bilstein engineers. The program will consist of four department rotational assignments spanning 6 Months each. After a short onboarding and orientation rotation in the employee's home department, the employee will rotate through various Bilstein challenging departments and functions such as Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing/Operations, Technology and Innovation, and One Non-Engineering department rotation (Sales and Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Logistics.) Throughout the Rotational Development Program, the employee will be paired with an Executive Sponsor to support the employee's progression through the program. After completion of the rotations, Bilstein of America will take an active role working with you and the organizational needs to find the perfect fit for your permanent role to further advance your career at Bilstein. The Executive Sponsor is an individual of the Bilstein Senior Leadership Team (SLT) who is a Director-level or higher in the organization. Seeking highly-motivated future leaders who thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment Your profile Qualifications & Experience: Previous internship / CO-OP experience in the automotive industry (OEM or Supplier) (Preferred) Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one & small group situations to Customers, clients, & others. Self-starter and able to work without day-to-day direction. Strong project management skills with proven ability to plan, monitor, and control a project from start to finish ensuring everyone meets their deadlines. Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance. Strong attention to detail with well-developed, organizational and communication skills. Proven experience developing work processes to improve outcomes for the team/customers. Ability to comprehend drawings and GD&T along with some awareness of CAD software. Demonstrated ability to analyze FEA/CFD results. Experience with coordination and presentation of technical data Strong leadership skills Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
