Bryant & Stratton Admin Receptionist (PT) in Hampton, Virginia

Description

The Hampton campus of Bryant & Stratton College is seeking an Administrative Receptionist (part-time). This position reports to the Director of Admissions.

Job Summary:

This position is an essential first contact for Students, Faculty, Staff and Vendors. In addition to receptionist duties, this position provides administrative support to the Admissions department.

Principal Job Functions:

  • Answering a multi-line phone system

  • Polite and professional customer service

  • Data entry and other Admissions functions

  • Distributing and sending campus mail

  • Faxing, filing and basic office duties

  • Special projects as assigned

The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a diverse group of students and peers is required. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and manage time are essential skills for this position.

Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours is required.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Associates Degree preferred

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • Previous receptionist experience a plus
