Leading defense industry client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for their growing team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting their engineering team in the programming, operation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and battery equipment.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience
Associates or Technical Degree desired
salary: $60,320 - $68,640 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Provide programming, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of assigned assembly equipment
Battery experience: assembling, troubleshooting, repairing, etc.
Ensure proper setup and operation of assigned assembly equipment
Provide equipment and process support as required to ensure production schedule is maintained
Perform tasks such as replacing components; repairing electrical equipment; circuits, electrical panels, & mechanical components; light machining; assembly of mechanical & electrical components; and assisting engineers as required
Ensure tasks such as replacing components adhere to the proper class standard
May lead and direct the work of others
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
standing for 5 hours at one time
