Job Title: Communications Advisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Communications Advisor to act as a communication advisor to senior executives and leaders. The ideal candidate will help create, execute, and manage communication strategies, messages, and planning that drive the product charters, highlighting the risks and benefits associated with proposed strategies and tactical responses. The Communications Advisor will provide strategic leadership advisement, develop communication strategies, manage project and event communications, support change management and employee engagement, and perform measurement and evaluation tasks.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor degree with at least 8+ years of related work experience specifically advising senior leaders around communication, leadership and strategy.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle internal clients with tact and diplomacy, and maintain composure and production quality under deadline pressure with multiple priorities.

• Experience partnering and supporting senior -level executives on communication initiatives including town halls, meetings and events preparation.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Hanover, Maryland and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid - First 6 months: 4 days in office, then 3 days in office and 2 days at home after conversion. Collaboration days are Monday and Wednesday.
