Job Responsibilities Creare, a leader in cutting-edge RandD, develops new technologies and provides analysis, design, experimental, computational, product, and consulting services to industry and government, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Engineer.

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead business development and program management efforts while driving new product development.

The ideal candidate will have experience in power electronics, space electronics, and/or defense systems, and will be responsible for leading new product development, managing programs from concept to delivery, and driving growth in key technical areas.

• Lead product development initiatives, focusing on power electronics, space and defense systems.
• Manage complex, high-stakes programs from concept through execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including RandD, sales, and manufacturing, to deliver innovative solutions.
• Serve as a key technical expert, providing guidance on power electronics and advanced systems.
• Develop and execute business strategies to expand market presence and identify new growth opportunities.
• Lead proposal development for new projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the defense and aerospace industries.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful program outcomes.

Professional Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. (preferred) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in business development and program management, ideally within the defense, aerospace, or high-tech sectors.
• Proven leadership experience managing complex programs and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for aerospace and defense products (e.g., AS9100).
• Entrepreneurial mindset and readiness for a leadership role in Creare.

Creare offers a competitive compensation package, including but not limited to a substantial annual staff bonus, industry-leading 401(k) contributions and plan options, and a range of medical plan offerings. Base annual salary range of $150,000 - $200,000, based on level of education completed, and years of relevant experience.
