Reference #: 5001002061300 Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Machine Cleaner/ Relief Forklift Operator to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA at our 900 High St facility. This position works Monday-Thursday 8:40AM-8:40PM. This candidate will be responsible to participate in all sanitation activities in order to maintain, clean, and safeguard equipment and facilities used for the processing and packaging of food products. This candidate will also be responsible to remove all waste to proper disposal units. Key Responsibilities Participates in all sanitation activities in order to maintain, clean, and safeguard equipment and facilities used for the processing and packaging of food products. Shift will be split between Relief Forklift Operator and Sanitation duties. Uses air wands, high pressure rinse, cleaning chemicals, hand cleaning, squeegees, and motorized sweepers to maintain all surfaces and equipment Must be willing to learn how to operate a forklift and high reach. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to use a ladder to clean. Removes parts from machines to be washed in can washer. Removes all waste and disposes in the appropriate container. Returns all tables, mats, hoses, and cleaning equipment to proper position. Must be able to follow standard work instructions. Must double check work and use checklists as guidelines. Responsible to follow all safety rules and work safely at all times. Must report unsafe equipment and practices to supervisor. Must adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment while working on or around, hot water, cleaning chemicals, and wet floors. Required to wear non-slip shoes and all appropriate personal protective equipment. Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
