job summary:
Seeking Tooling Technicians to maintain and repair injection molding tools for quality product production. If you have experience repairing plastic injection molds, mechanical skills, and the ability to operate manual mold shop equipment, we want you. responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on injection molds and report their status to the supervisor.
Operate machining tools and equipment for mold maintenance.
Repair and test injection molds.
Conduct inventory of molding tools and parts and report status to supervisor.
Store and maintain validated components, while also managing non-validated components.
Maintain stock inventories to ensure proper levels of component parts are available for tooling repair.
Document reasons for mold repairs and solutions to prevent future manufacturing interruptions.
Follow all procedures and training, maintaining excellent attendance.
Advise supervisor of recurring production failures and escalate issues through the proper chain of command.
Maintain logs of all molds that have undergone preventive maintenance and control each mold.
Maintain machine cleanliness standards.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations, as well as company security policies.
