Piedmont Airlines Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor in our Maintenance Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to supervise all Aircraft Parts/Stores activities and functions. This position will report to the Manager, Aircraft Parts.

Essential Duties:

  • Ensure efficient utilization of assigned personnel

  • Monitor quality and quantity of production and guarantee cleanliness of facilities

  • Provide training and maintain documentation; confirm employee qualifications

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of company data programs and aviation terminology

  • Trained in HAZMAT shipping and handling

  • Demonstrate supervisory ability and technical knowledge required to perform the duties of this assignment

  • Knowledge of accounting procedures as it relates to materials management

  • Knowledge of appropriate sections of the Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual, including applicable provisions of CFR’s

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Aircraft Parts/ Stores Clerk

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment

  • Airport ramp/warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels

  • All shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs

  • Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance from co-workers or tools

Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.
