Reference #: 4597527 THE POSITION The Pennsylvania State Police have a Clerical Assistant 2 position available in the Bureau of Records and Identification. This position is responsible for scanning, indexing, verifying and preparing criminal history fingerprint cards and documents that are to be entered into an automated imaging system.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK Responsibilities of this position include scanning, verifying and preparing all criminal history fingerprint cards and documents to be entered into the automated Integra Archive system. This is to enable all units within the Bureau to access imaged criminal history data.  Personnel are also responsible for the extraction, filing, and maintenance of the criminal records of an assigned section within the criminal jacket files.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position is not eligible for telework. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:

All employees must obtain active Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) certification issued by the Pennsylvania State Police within the probationary period and maintain the same for the duration of employment in this job.
