Reference #: 4599603 THE POSITION The Department of Revenue has a vacancy for a Clerical Assistant 2 in the Central Records Division.  This position will provide clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK Some responsibilities of the position include the following: Process and sort daily incoming mail for Revenue bureaus to be scanned into various files. Perform quality checks in reviewing the condition of documents prior to scanning. Arrange prepped documents and correspondence according to the bureau and/or tax type. Submit work to supervisor for quality control prior to scanning. Maintain and complete a daily production log by recording the job type, activity count, and time spent on the job(s) worked each day. Utilize a i4250 scanner for the imaging of documents. Utilizes Scan Manager and Capture Pro applications.Interested in learning more?  Additional details regarding this position can be found in theposition description.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment.
