DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, your main goal will be to ensure the accuracy of vehicle records and meet the customer service expectations of those who reach out to the unit. This will involve independently writing and issuing letters to customers, addressing topics such as PA Vehicle Code requirements, PennDOT programs, and vehicle titling and registration requirements. The letters you create will include original, restricted form, and modified form letters, and you may also need to develop new form letters or modify existing ones as necessary.

Additionally, you will be expected to handle customer responses to correspondence, which may involve processing transactions on vehicle records, following up with further correspondence, or referring customers to other PennDOT work units or Commonwealth agencies for additional action. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of customers and partners.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
