DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for serving as the main timekeeper for the County Office, acting as the primary point of contact for the District in relation to all time and payroll matters. You will provide guidance and support to all timekeepers within the County, including those in the garage, ensuring that payrolls are accurately completed and reviewed before being inputted into the ZIPY system. This involves verifying that work orders are correctly coded, assembly matches the work order number, production units are in the right increments, and total production hours are accurately recorded.

Additionally, you will be tasked with entering payroll information into SAP by processing the cut-off time, maintaining precise work schedules for employees in the system, and making adjustments as necessary when shifts or off days are modified. You will also handle the entry of TWOC (Time Worked Out of Class) for county employees upon approval from the District, verifying the equipment used during TWOC and the number of hours worked.

Furthermore, part of your responsibilities will include reviewing, interpreting, and confirming the completion of paperwork related to employee leave, entering this information into SAP, and maintaining electronic leave records. You will compare balances in SAP to electronic leave records, making any required adjustments, and filing leave slips and records following the established procedure. Additionally, you will be accountable for filing time sheets correctly and resolving SAP system errors related to county employee leave and payroll transactions. This will involve generating, researching, and monitoring error reports daily, as well as investigating and resolving any leave and payroll issues that arise, whether identified in reports or reported by employees.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
