DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Serving as the Deputy Director of School Safety, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of agency programs pertaining to school safety, student mental health, and related youth-focused initiatives. Your responsibilities will include providing oversight of the PCCD duties established within the PA Public School Code Articles XIII-B (relating to school safety and security), XIII-C (relating to school security personnel), and XIII-E (relating to threat assessment). In this role, you will support the School Safety and Security Committee (SSSC) and act as a liaison to other youth-based initiatives within the Commission.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report to the office 1 day per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Program Analyst 4; or

Five years of analytical experience, four of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations and one of which includes serving in a supervisory capacity, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
