DESCRIPTION OF WORK Your duties will involve conducting thorough research on case files, preparing documentation for prosecution purposes, and collaborating with the legal staff to handle enforcement cases. Additionally, you will draft noncompliance letters detailing violations, corrective actions, and timeframes, as well as provide information to various stakeholders on departmental programs, rules, and regulations. You will also conduct inspections at solid waste facilities and other designated locations in response to radiological incidents, and participate in relevant training sessions to stay updated on radioactive materials regulation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position may require travel as needed.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of professional experience as a Sanitarian, Air Quality Specialist, Solid Waste Specialist, or Water Quality Specialist; or Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which affords the applicant the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
Special Requirement: This position requires the possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
