Do you have experience managing project implementation teams? If this sounds like you, the Infrastructure and Economic Development Information Technology Delivery Center has an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking an experienced, motivated individual to direct the planning, development, and implementation of IT projects for our delivery center.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK The primary assignment for this Project Manager 1 position is the planning, directing, execution, controlling, implementation, and closing of IT Projects within the Infrastructure and Economic Development Delivery Center (IED DC), which serves agencies including the Department of Transportation (PennDOT), the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA). Duties for these projects include, but are not limited to directing, coordinating, and tracking the activities of the delivery center's staff related to assigned projects, including all Commonwealth employees and contracted staff, through all phases of the project. The position serves as the IT Project Manager, supervising all project sub-teams within the context of the project. The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, governance, communications, risk, quality assurance, staffing, time keeping, change processes, performance reporting, status reporting, and the work breakdown structure.

The assigned projects are typically large and complex, involving the development of new systems or major enhancements to existing systems. The systems involve multiple data interfaces to information systems both internal and external to the sponsoring agency. Project teams and stakeholders include other state agencies, PennDOT, PEMA, DCED business partners, multiple business units, and multiple diverse critical business operations. Projects have significant impact on the total IT environment for the delivery center, the affected agencies, and the Commonwealth.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time for 2 days per week; 3 days per week are required to work in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Business Analyst 3; or Two years of experience in leading IT systems development or implementation projects and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of experience in leading IT systems development or implementation projects.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required): Having one or more of the following certifications: PMP - Project Management Professional CAPM - Certified Associate in Project Management CSM - Certified Scrum Master PMI - Agile Certified Practitioner ITIL Foundation (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
