The Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) is seeking an administrative professional to join our team. This position gives you the opportunity to perform various duties in order to establish, execute, and continuously improve a statewide needs-based system of training for drug and alcohol professionals and stakeholders. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the advancement of DDAP training services in Pennsylvania. This position requires critical thinking skills and a solution focused mindset to identify opportunities for improvement across an extensive catalog of courses. You will work independently and be responsible for in depth analysis of information and issues to promote successful oversight and implementation of training initiatives. This position will allow you to travel throughout the state representing the interests of the department and to foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders at the local and state levels. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Assessing educational needs of the field Evaluating course content and the performance of contracted course instructors Recruiting and contracting new instructors Working with subject matter experts to update, develop, and maintain educational content that is current and follows best practice in adult education Conducting Training of Trainers events Assisting in the administration of an online training management system Providing technical assistance to instructors, students, Single County Authorities, and other DDAP stakeholders If you have experience in on-line learning programs, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in-office for training and other events at DDAP headquarters as needed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
