US Tech Solutions IT Desktop Support in Harrodsburg, Kentucky
Duration: 12-month contract with Extension
Job Description:
Provide technical assistance and resolution as necessary
Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
Maintain and repair computer systems connected to data acquisition systems and lab
instruments.
Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
Troubleshoot system local and group policy issues in Microsoft Active Directory
Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and mend inefficiencies
Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
Ensure that Internet security software is updated and running properly
Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and
protection from attacks
Test and implement new software programs for the company
Experience:
AS degree in Computer Repair, or relevant field preferred
01 to 03 years’ experience as computer technician or similar role
Soft Skills:
Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems
Excellent PC troubleshooting skills
Able to read and understand technical manuals
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively
Experience with LAN/WAN networks
Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
Education:
- Associate degree in required
