  • 5+ years of experience working in a Microsoft Systems Engineering role within a high paced IT environment, preferably within some financial institution experience

  • Experience with Call Analytic reporting, M365 Usage reporting, and integrations into Dial Plan management and provisioning systems (like StarFish) and ServiceNow

  • Avaya Voice systems experience especially with integration with Microsoft Teams

  • 1 or more years of experience implementing, managing and supporting Microsoft Teams in a large enterprise (20,000+ emp)

  • Proven professional experience with Azure AD and Microsoft\Office 365, including configuration of tenant wide policies, ATP products, Intune, authentication and identity management and DLP

  • 3 or more years of experience with managing and supporting Microsoft\Office 365 platforms including Intune, and Azure AD (20,000+ emp)

Reporting to the Management of Collaboration Services, the Senior Microsoft 365 Analyst will be a senior technical resource for The Hartford’s Collaboration Services Organization. In this role, the Senior Microsoft 365 Analyst is responsible for engineering new enhancements, business solutions and supporting one or more of the Collaboration Services as well as providing engineering guidance to L1 & L2 support staff. This role is responsible for the design, engineering, implementation, and support of collaboration initiatives as well as the maintenance of the existing collaboration services designs and managing change to those services. This role will provide a leadership role to both L1 and L2 support staff and mentor and teach team members the new technologies and changes to new and existing services

This position requires the Senior engineer to perform functions such as administration of cloud service tenants and on-premise collaboration components and infrastructure.

This individual will:

  • Lead design enhancements to existing services, lead consultation with partners and business users to develop solutions to business problems and requirements.

  • Lead research efforts to multi-service technical issues, lead installation and configuration efforts to services and software, provide senior level troubleshooting of multiple layers of client, network, server and service technology

  • Design testing scenarios of new engineered solutions and services, support business projects, support L1 & L2 support staff, monitor services and dashboards and identify trends,

  • Oversee the reporting of usage and adoption of newly created collaboration services

  • Review and oversee the documentation service updates and changes to users L1 and L2 support staff and Automated self service bots,

  • Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to users L1 and L2 staff

  • Work with Collaboration service suppliers and vendors to ensure stability of Collaboration services, and identify ways to improve employee experience via proactive support channels

This position will utilize scripting languages to execute changes to new and existing cloud services, run reports and query Development, QA, Test and production systems and cloud services. They will engineer new service management integrations into new and existing collaboration services and technologies This position will also be fluent in and be able to troubleshoot API and App integrations into M365, ServiceNow, StarFIsh, Genesys, SalesForce and other SAAS applications.

This engineering resource will work with cloud and on premise logging, monitoring and alerting services such to identify and spot trends and report on service performance and to aid in service management. This resource will work the automation capabilities inherent in M365 to assist with the automation of provisioning, reporting and support activities.

This position will require in depth knowledge of troubleshooting configuring cloud and on premise capabilities of the following services and technologies Microsoft 365 , ProofPoint, Lotus Notes & Domino, Smarsh Vantage and Cloud Capture, EMC SourceOne, Bloomberg , Exchange 2013 and Online, SharePoint 2013 and Online, Teams services, Yammer service, Power automate, PowerBI and Power App.

As a senior Collaboration engineer they will be play a leadership role in supporting and driving adoption of collaboration technology driving Collaboration equality. The senior Collaboration Engineer will be the lead to drive Continuous Improvement into the services provided by the team and drive operational excellence in support and management of the service.

The senior Collaboration Engineer will evangelize the capabilities and services that the Collaboration service organization provides. They will offer guidance and consulting to users to explain and offer technical solutions to business problems.

The senior Collaboration Engineer will be a lead to drive the support models toward self service and support that leverages user personalization and utilize support and analytics tools to provide support based on intelligence of how our customer user our product and how an end user users our products.

The senior engineer will lead the drive toward a detailed understanding of how customers use our products and services and have a natural customer service motivated support delivery posture. The senior engineer will work with the strategy and architecture organizations to ensure that we have a good inventory of use cases and that PlanIT captures business process that are supported by our services

The senior Collaboration Engineer will support cloud services and models which will require a high level of adaptability to support the changes that will be presented to the team from service provides plotting a tactical solution to the change problem while at the same time thinking through how the long term delivery of services will be affected or how it may affect our services portfolio. They will be the lead to ensure the process that support change are aligned with the changes standards put in place by the Hartford and will work with OCM to ensure they are adapted widely

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$101,760 - $152,640
