Underwriting Quality Intern

The underwriting quality intern will influence the development of resources, including tools, and guides, consisting of three main products: Equipment Breakdown, Renewable Energy and Cyber Insurance.

The candidate will assist in researching and creating new resources to help drive underwriting quality and efficiency in the department. They will collaborate with other CRS team members and Global Underwriting staff to ensure business needs are met.

Lastly, the underwriting quality intern will assist in prioritizing resources and executing the delivery of the highest priority items as defined.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in insurance or risk management, Business, or related field

  • Seeking current sophomores, juniors, and seniors

  • Base knowledge of the insurance industry and underwriting function

  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of products

  • Comfortable with creating templates and other resources, guided by shared ideas

  • Candidate has the ability to work independently and has a pro-active mindset
