Position: Business Analyst 1
Description: Obtains and utilizes subject matter expertise with a responsibility of articulating functional/technical requirements for efforts that deliver measurable value and success for the product and Trek as a whole. Analyst is committed to developing strong relationships and partnerships with the business.
Demonstrates clear communication skills, verbal and written. Helps pod work through the SDLC. Facilitates meetings to assist the team in arriving at solutions. Excellent communication and documentation of feature requirements, decisions made, and status of work. Has basic knowledge in the areas of software development and database principles which help in understanding business requirements to be executed through technical solutions. Displays strong interviewing and analytical skills, and can work mostly independently to arrive at needed requirements. Team oriented and demonstrates ability to lead and assist team members when needed.
Duties:
Obtaining and utilizing subject matter expertise with a responsibility of articulating and writing functional/technical business requirements depending on the project
Research solutions and assess current and future state for requirements gathering and story writing
Clearly articulate status and decisions made during agile development process
Delivery of story requirements: ability to articulate and write stories according to written and verbal standards
Identify bugs in the current system
Basic understanding of data architecture
Assist team members when needed
Move IBRs (misc. items) and projects through the SDLC process
Responsible for gathering business ideas from initial brainstorming and getting into production; in the form of an Agile story, creating mock-ups, prototypes, ad-hoc SQL queries, and other artifacts
Lead reoccurring meetings with business partners
Proactively collaborating with stakeholders in all levels of the business
Use a variety of tools and methods to communicate clearly with business partners and developer team.
WebTech:
Use a variety of tools and methods to communicate clearly with business partners, vendors, customers, and design and technology staff to analyze and identify opportunities to enhance mobile and web applications
Comprehension of impexes and running them with guidance from developers
Basic understanding of navigation of Hybris Backoffice
Business Intelligence:
Responsible for taking on support rotation with guidance; analyze bugs that come into our ticketing system and resolves independently or create a developer bug
Participate in steering meetings
Execute QA/testing needed to assure the desired functionality and data integrity of BI solutions meet the business requirements and deadlines.
Analyst has beginner level knowledge of our BI Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Azure Data products, Excel, Power BI, DAX) and computer languages (SQL)
Analyst has beginner knowledge of our database systems and can trouble shoot through any of our solutions with guidance
Ascend:
Help create and update basic visual diagrams and process flows to help assist in data modeling and story acceptance criteria
Help create Knowledge Base articles for new features that are going out - pull assistance from other BA’s and Technical counterparts
Basic understanding of navigation of Ascend HQ and other Ascend applications
Position: Business Analyst 2
Description: Subject matter expertise with a responsibility of articulating quality functional/technical requirements for efforts that deliver measurable value and success for the product and Trek as a whole.
Demonstrates clear communication skills, verbal and written. Guides pod work throughout the SDLC. Facilitates meetings and discussions and assists in making recommendations on semi-complex solutions. Excellent communication and documentation of functional/technical requirements, decisions made and status of work. Has intermediate experience in the areas of software development, databases, e-commerce, and customer service principles which help in understanding business requirements to be executed through technical solutions. Displays advanced interviewing and analytical skills, and can work independently to arrive at needed requirements. Team oriented and demonstrates ability to lead and assist team members to deliver quality stories when needed.

Display advanced interviewing and analytical skills, and can work independently to arrive at needed requirements.
Manage and coordinate epic process with cross functional teams on semi-complex projects to aid in the completion of feature development.
Assists team members when needed. Demonstrates ability to lead.
Assist team to follow our agile SDLC process
Facilitate discussion and assist in making recommendations on semi-complex solutions during idea generation, brainstorming sessions, and solutions oriented discussions.
Understand basic concepts of coding/SQL, data architecture, e-commerce, customer service principles
Responsible for gathering business ideas from initial brainstorming to getting into production; in the form of an Agile story, creating mock-ups, prototypes, ad-hoc SQL queries, and other artifacts.
Leads recurring meetings with various business areas to gather business data requirements and needs
Proactively collaborating with stakeholders in all levels of the business
WebTech:
Writing basic flexible search queries via HAC to generate data for different asks
Comprehension of impexes and confidently running impexes after review with developers
Understanding of the type structure in Hybris and knowing how to navigate to data quickly
Basic understanding of the architecture of the b2c and b2b sites
Understands what data comes from BI and DI
Moderate experience with eCommerce, CMS, POS, IMS, Integrations to 3rd party software, etc.
Business Intelligence:
Responsible for taking on support rotation with confidence; analyze bugs that come into our ticketing system and resolves independently or create a developer bug
Analyst has demonstrated a moderate/intermediate knowledge of our BI Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Azure Data products, Excel, Power BI, DAX) and computer languages (SQL)
Participate in steering meetings.
Execute QA/testing needed to assure the desired functionality and data integrity of BI solutions to meet the business requirements and deadlines
Analyst has completed or is actively taking classes or getting certifications that benefit them in the BI Analyst role
Analyst has intermediate knowledge of our database systems and can trouble shoot through our solutions.

Has advanced experiences in the areas of software development, databases, e-commerce, customer service principles which help in understanding business requirements to be executed through technical solutions. Displays advanced interviewing and analytical skills, can work independently, and lead others to arrive at needed requirements. Team oriented and demonstrates ability to lead and mentor other Business Analysts.

Responsible for ushering a business idea from initial brainstorm to production, in the form of a feature or series of features.
Extensive experience with eCommerce, CMS, POS, IMS, Integrations to 3rd party software, etc.
Writing flexible search queries via HAC to generate data for different asks
Confidently writing and running impexes after review with developers
Understanding of the architecture of the b2c and b2b sites
How the sites interacts with blob storage, ETL, etc.
Attend working sessions of other BAs and provide feedback
Assist with BA Reviews to maintain story quality.
Helping with pre-grooming of misc items
Business Intelligence:
Responsible for taking on support rotation with confidence; analyze bugs that come into our ticketing system and resolves independently or create a developer bug
Participate in steerings
Execute QA/testing needed to assure the desired functionality and data integrity of BI solutions to meet the business requirements and deadlines
Analyst has demonstrated advanced skills and knowledge in our BI Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Azure Data products, Excel, Power BI, DAX) and computer languages (SQL)
Analyst has at least one professional certification (I.e. Scrum Master)
Analyst has advanced knowledge of our database systems and can trouble shoot through our solutions.
Analyst demonstrates they keep up with story development and velocity in our sprints
Ascend:
