UX Researcher Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a UX Researcher with a passion for understanding user needs and motivations, as well as the ability to empathize with people from all roles, industries and backgrounds. The ideal candidate understands that technology interactions affect our workdays, personal lives and overall happiness. They will be a fearless, enthusiastic advocate for our Sprinklr users by converting their needs and desires into actionable insights and impactful solutions.

As an essential member of our Design team, you will champion the needs of our end users throughout the design and development process. Utilizing advanced research methodologies, you will engage directly with users from leading global brands to gain an in-depth understanding of their daily tasks and ultimate goals. You will collaborate closely with Sprinklr’s exceptional designers, product managers, and engineers to seamlessly translate user insights and feedback into our products. Amid the dynamic environment of software development, your profound knowledge and comprehension of our users will guide us in creating products that are both trusted and loved.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with designers, product owners/managers, engineers and fellow UX Researchers to prioritize research needs and opportunities

• Host and facilitate qualitative research sessions with Sprinklr’s rich user base, including all role levels, industries and geographical regions

• Develop a strong understanding of Sprinklr user personas, workflows and behaviour to represent users throughout the design process

• Analyze and distill user feedback into actionable insights to inform product and design decisions

• Identify, implement and iterate new research methodologies and processes as Sprinklr’s UX Research operations continue to evolve

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Design or related field

• 5+ years in UX Research/Design or relevant industry experience

• In-depth knowledge of UX Research and Design principles and application

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience corresponding with senior stakeholders and high-profile customers

• Preference for working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high autonomy

• Curious, empathetic mindset, including intuition to ask effective questions and receive actionable feedback
